Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare the lobster tails: Make sure the lobster tails are fully thawed. Using kitchen shears, cut lengthwise through the top center of the shell, stopping at the tail fin. Do not cut through the bottom shell.
- Gently separate the shell and carefully lift the meat out, leaving the very end of the tail connected to the base. Lift the meat and place it on top of the shell.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped parsley, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.
- Bake for 8-12 minutes, depending on the size of the tails. The lobster meat should be opaque and firm to the touch. The internal temperature should be 145°F (63°C).
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges and extra melted butter for dipping.
Notes
For a beautiful brown finish, you can broil the lobster tails for the last 1-2 minutes of cooking. Keep a very close eye on them to prevent burning.
Don't overcook! Overcooked lobster is tough and rubbery. An instant-read thermometer is the best way to ensure perfect results.
