Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat or bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes until crispy. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Season chicken breast with salt and pepper. Cook in a skillet or on the grill until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Let it rest, then slice or shred.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, minced garlic, and fresh lemon juice until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the sheet of buns in half horizontally. Place the bottom half on a baking sheet, brush with melted butter, and toast for 3-5 minutes.
- Spread the garlic aioli on the toasted bottom buns. Layer with chicken, crispy bacon, tomato slices, and lettuce. Place the top buns on, brush with remaining butter, and serve immediately.
Notes
Tip 1: For extra flavor, add a slice of cheddar or provolone cheese on top of the chicken before adding the bacon.
Tip 2: You can use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken to make this recipe even faster and easier.
Tip 3: Prepare all ingredients ahead of time, but only assemble the sliders right before serving to keep everything fresh and prevent sogginess.
