- In a medium mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and the packet of ranch seasoning. Mix with a hand mixer or a spatula until smooth and fully combined.
- Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, 3/4 of the crumbled bacon, and the sliced green onions. Reserve the remaining bacon for garnish.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. This step is optional but highly recommended for the best taste.
- Before serving, transfer the dip to a serving dish and garnish with the remaining crumbled bacon and extra sliced green onions.
