- Dice the bacon and cook in a skillet over medium heat until dark red, brown, and very crispy. Drain thoroughly on paper towels.
- Using a hand mixer, beat the softened cream cheese, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder until smooth and off-white.
Assembly and Baking
- Spread the cream cheese mixture into a white ceramic baking dish. Top with a thick, even layer of shredded orange cheddar.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes. Switch to broil for 2 minutes until the cheese is blistered and bubbling.
- Top with crispy bacon crumbles and thinly sliced green onions. Serve warm with yellow corn tortilla chips.
