Preparation and Searing
- Heat oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add seasoned chicken pieces and sear until visible golden-brown edges form, about 5-6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Cook gnocchi in boiling salted water until they float to the surface (2-3 minutes). Drain or lift out with a slotted spoon.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add broth, cream, and lemon juice. Simmer until the sauce is thick and glossy.
- Toss the chicken and gnocchi back into the sauce. Garnish with parsley, lemon zest, and cracked black pepper.
